The WSA is not replying to emails, the website and its content are very dated, the matters discussed in this group are very superficial and there hasn’t been an update on recent developments in months (and even these updates are, with all due respect, half-assed).
Is this a sinking ship? I really don’t understand why and how the sponsors could let things get that far. Maybe their reasons are financially motivated. But even that would be something the sponsors could and should share with us.
I understand that the sale of publications helps to finance the work of the WSA but so many people, including myself, are simply unable to buy them. The option of labelling the application form with #info is no use, as whoever is unable to pay for them is most likely unable to send and/or receive mail. Let alone, that I highly doubt that the WSA will ever send these publication as they’re not even answering a simple email. All publications should be additionally provided in some kind of electronic format.
Seeing such a noble, sincere and important idea falling apart before my very eyes saddens me deeply. Buy I for my part won’t give up on it, even if it means forking this project.
